The Visitation Therapy Sessions focus on their sound by incorporating electronic instruments into classical and traditional themes used in Gospel & Christian music. Although the group may have a new line-up, they still carry forward their original and unique ambient sound fused with ethnic influences. With their songs based upon Biblical references, you can typically expect heavy atmospherics set amongst a distinct array of melody. Their self-titled debut ep saw them spread across a variety of styles such as the melodic ambient grooves of "Song Of Mercy", to the dark and sinister "Strangels", to the Eastern flavoured "Dreams In Susa" to the 80's electro-pop mix of "Christals". Their first full-length, "A Light To Shine Upon The Road That Leads Me To The Lamb" featured a more experimental approach to making their sound, involving a lot more ethnic and world influences mixed in with electronic ambiences and beats. A new album is in the making and promises to encompass the familiar sounds of previous records along with the evolving and unique atmoshperics of their current material.
